Back pain is undoubtedly one of the most common problems in the world, so much so that it represents the number one cause of disability globally.

To prevent its onset, it is essential to pay particular attention to the care of one's lifestyle, in particular through the constant practice of physical exercise, the maintenance of a correct posture and the execution of stretching exercises to release tensions and maintain a good degree of elasticity of the musculature.

This workout consists of 4 stretching exercises to relax the lumbar region and avoid tension in this area.

Exercises

The circuit, to be practiced for at least 2 or 3 times a week in conjunction with a "regular sporting activity, is composed as follows:

Cat-camel, 5 series of 15 seconds each

Knees to chest, 3 sets of 20 seconds each for each leg

Cross leg, 3 sets of 30 seconds each for each leg

Lumbar muscle stretch, 3 sets of 30 seconds each on each side
